Eric focuses on family law and civil litigation. Eric graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. He is proficient in German, a skill he learned during his studies at the University of Tuebingen in Germany. Eric was the first recipient of the annual American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers’ Award for outstanding contribution to the advancement of matrimonial law. Eric assisted Professor Suzanne Reynolds of Wake Forest University with her research for the treatise, Lee’s North Carolina Family Law. He was appointed to and serves on the Domestic Court Committee of the Mecklenburg County Courts. Eric is also an active member of the Family Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association, and has been appointed to serve on the statewide Collaborative Law Committee. As a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar, he has coordinated and presented at the biannual Family Law Section custody seminar. Eric is a member of and participates on the executive steering committee of the Mecklenburg Collaborative Family Law Practice Group.
